Graphite electrode is made out of petroleum coke, needle coke and coal pitch, through calcining, batching, kneading, forming, baking, graphitizing and machining.
It is a conductor that releases electric energy in an arc furnace to heat the furnace.
It's mainly used in electric oven like smellting steel, smelting silicon and smelting yellow phosphorus, etc.
